The Newly Open Kiewit Hall
UNL has partnered with Kiewit, one of the largest engineering firms in North America, on the newly open, state-of-the-art Kiewit Hall. The six-story, 182,000-square-foot building offers hands-on learning labs, student maker spaces and the latest tech optimized to prepare the engineers of the future. In the Company of MIT, Yale and… Hollywood
UNL’s Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts was the first program in the Big Ten to earn HP/EDUCAUSE designation, joining MIT, Harvard, Yale and Dartmouth. UNL offers one of the nation’s first bachelor’s degree programs in Sports Media and Communication at a Power Five conference university. Engler Program: 70+ new businesses in first 10 years
UNL’s Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program supports aspiring entrepreneurs by giving them the tools, connections and resources to launch their own businesses. Over 70 businesses have been started since the program’s inception in 2010, with more than 230 Engler Program alums living, working and growing their businesses in Nebraska.
