The Locus Science Fiction Foundation has announced their five finalists for each category of the 2016 Locus Award, chosen annually by a survey of readers. Michael R. Page, lecturer and Laurus faculty advisor in the Department of English, received a nomination for his recent biography of prolific science fiction writer Frederick Pohl. The biography is now one of the five finalists in the non-fiction category. The awards will be presented at Locus Magazine's awards weekend in Seattle, WA, June 24-26, 2016.
Frederik Pohl: Modern Masterse of Science Fiction was published in November 2015 by University of Illinois Press.
