Quantitation of Polycrystalline Electron Diffraction Pattern

1. Load the experimental diffraction pattern (600x600 pixels) in tiff format.
2. Center the diffraction pattern and correct the ellipticity if needed.
3. Select the range of incident beam and the beam stopper if needed, then do quatification.
3. Remove the background automatically or manually.
4. Set the correct pixel per inch (PPI) and camera length with calibration if necessary.
5. Roughly estimate the peak position/height and edit the peak list.
6. Select the peak profile shape betweem pseudo-Voigtian (default) or pearson VII.
7. Refine the peak profile and normalize the diffracton intensities.
8. Display the result in the selected mode in mouse right-click.
9. Profile data can be saved as .txt and loaded to PCED2s program to compare with simulation.

Note: this is a basic operation. See the user manual for details.
