The annual Department of English Literary Contests are open to all students of english. The ten separate contests cover poetry, fiction, short story, creative non-fiction, and critical essay, and offer prizes ranging from $100 to $1,000. Winners will be announced by April 14 and will get a chance to read their prizewinning pieces at a public reading.
